Mythopoeic Fantasy Award -kirjallisuuspalkinto

Mythopoeic Society on fantastisen ja myyttisen kirjallisuuden edistämiseen keskittynyt yhdistys. Yhtenä toimintamuotonaan se jakaa kirjallisuuspalkintoja.

Sarjoja on kaksi: Mythopoeic Fantasy Award for Adult Literature ja Mythopoeic Fantasy Award for Children’s Literature. Sarjat jaettiin kahtia 1992, sitä ennen oli vain yksi sarja.

Lisäksi Mythopoeic Society jakaa palkintoja Inklings-kirjailijoiden (ryhmän tunnetuimmat jäsenet ovat J.R.R. Tolkien ja C.S. Lewis) tutkijoille ja muille myyttien ja fantasioiden asiaa edistäneille.

Palkintoehdokkaat valitaan seuran jäsenten ehdotuksesta ja voittajat valitsee seuran jäsenistä koostuva komitea. Lisätietoja palkinnosta löytyy seuran palkintosivulta.
